Report: A deserved victory although a slightly flattering scoreline against the team currently bottom of the Division, however they had beaten the the top of the league side the previous Saturday! Bank of England started the brighter with better possession but without really threatening our goal before we took the lead with a goal straight out of the Sam Alladyce coaching manual. Mark Golding's long goal kick cleared their defence and Raf Anthony ran on to score with ease, once we had taken the lead we came more into the game and reached the break deservedly ahead. Matt Taylor added to our lead soon after the break which should have gone some way to making the game safe. However some slacking marking from a throw allowed the oppo to pull a goal back and create a few nervous moments until Anthony added a third from what seemed like an impossible angle. Tony Hunn came on as sub with 20mins left and almost immediately hit the post with a 25 yard shot and then moments later set up Tom Codd to run clear and coolly slot home our fourth. Paul Roux made a cameo appearance in the last few minutes much to the amusement of his son Sam, there can't be many 1st XIs who can boast of a father and son combination even if it was only for 90 secs!! and he was out of breath at the end.
