First Aid and Emergency Aid

A number of club members have completed the FA Emergency Aid workshop.  Contact Ian Meyrick for a list of players and members so you know whom to speak with about this key topic, including care and maintenance of First Aid kits for each team.  Members who have attended this course are able to assist with the following:

• Head Injuries - determining action

• The Recovery Position - preventing airways from blocking

• Epilepsy/Fits/Asthma attacks - determining action

• Choking - intervention to prevent continued choking

• CPR - if necessary intervention when CPR is required
