We were up against a good set of Finchley players on Boxing Day and in the end came up short (only just in the case of the Mixed/Younger XI). Kudos to the Blackmore family, where Ross netted for the youngsters and dad Geoff tucked away his re-taken penalty for the oldsters with aplomb. Great hopspitality from our hosts at Finchley, although the raffle in the clubhouse was hugely suspect with a whiff of the "Sepp Blatters" about it...!
